The location is cute, with nice indoor and outdoor seatings. Waiters were friendly but kind of busy. They were particularly eager to take away the empty plates for some reason. All the dishes tasted wonderful with layers of flavors. The ribs melt in our mouths. HOWEVER, all three of us eating at the restaurant got diarrhea the next day...We ate a bunch of other things together too, so I'm not 100% sure if Scoma's is the cause. It was just the last place we went to before we felt sick. FYI.

Came over to Sausalito after a Muir Woods tour and decided to hang out for the afternoon and take the ferry back on our own. That gave us more time for lunch so I popped into Scoma's to see if we could get a table. We lucked out because they had just opened and had their reservation folks flowing in. We lucked out with a table on the covered porch overlooking the water and the golden gate bridge. This ended up being a pricey lunch, but we went all out and considered it one of our spendy meals on the trip. We started with cocktails and the Sausalito Oyster. These things were delicious but so big. They're loaded with cheese and you get 4 to an order. Plus they start you with delicious sourdough bread so plan accordingly when ordering for two. We had the scallops with the creamiest mashed potatoes and broccolini and the crab louie salad (probably the most expensive item at around $65 I think). The salad was a large portion too and they weren't shy with the crab. We made sure to pick it all out to make sure we only left greens behind. From the beautiful views, top notch service, and excellent food, this was an all around win. Five star meal and a highlight of our day in Sausalito.

What can I say... As usual, the drinks service and food were incredible. The views you get in this restaurant are mind blowing, you cannot beat the ambience either. This building has a long history and we could not stop wondering, the things that took place here. This time I had the lobster risotto and I seriously did not want it to end! My girlfriend is a chicken sandwich fanatic, and she was really pleased with her sandwich. We had the fried mushrooms for an appetizer and I had the beet salad. The fried mushrooms were delicious and that little dipping sauce was perfect. Unfortunately, the beet salad didn't really do it for me. It wasn't bad at all, just not enough beets for my taste, but that's just my taste. If you make a reservation, which I highly recommend you do, try to get the window seat.

My now husband and I love to visit Scoma Sausalito for a romantic / small group dinner. We've brought friends and family here, everyone has enjoyed the ambiance. I called ahead for a reservation between 6-8 PM for a group of 5 and was able to secure a spot at 7:15 PM for my family. I recommend planning ahead for parking as street spots are scarce and the local public lot is $25 flat rate on the weekend. My family enjoyed the - calamari fritte - clam chowder - raw oyster - chianti braised waygu short ribs - lobster risotto - linguine con vongole -linguini frutti di mare linguine con vongole was a bit heavy on chili flakes but I enjoyed the linguini frutti di mare Pro tip: if you are passing by from Napa, bring your favorite wine to enjoy during dinner!

I love this place! The staff are super friendly. The inside looks very old school and nostalgic. You can also sit outside and enjoy the view. I ordered the clam chowder bowl. The clam chowder is delicious full of clams. The sourdough bread was good as well. Get the calamari. It's a must.

Drove a little further out of the city to avoid the tourists. After you walk past BEAUTIFUL homes facing the water, you'll see Scoma's! There was a few tables when we sat so we were helped right away. We ordered a few pasta's and appetizers. Seafood here is always expected to be fresh! Our waiter was even nice enough to serve us the cake we bought to celebrate a birthday!

Reserved this place for a lunch to celebrate my partner's birthday. This restaurant is located by the oceans so it's a great place to dine with a view of the ocean. Hog island oysters (5/5): Super fresh and plump Beau soleil, New Brunswick (5/5): Smaller than the hog island, but I really loved how sweet it was. Deep fried Buratta (5/5): I was so glad our server recommend this is. It was perfect as it was cheesy and crunchy. The tomato sauce was great too. Lazy Cioppino (5/5): I love cioppino, so I was super excited to try this. It comes with so much seafood including salmon, squid, Dungeness crab, mussels, clams, etc. the tomato broth tasted with less flavor than usual but still hearty. Linguini con vongole(4/5): This linguini dish comes with plentiful amounts of clams. It's also marinated white wine butter. I thought the sauce lacked flavor. Really enjoyed my experience and the view here.

A great find! I visited Sausalito this weekend. The weather was beautiful for a meal outside by the water. Scoma's was so cute we decided to have lunch on the deck overlooking the water. The food was fantastic. It came out piping hot. The linguini was perfectly al dente and the seafood was tender and flavorful. My friend had the Ling Cod and thought it was fantastic. The service was very good. They checked on us often which I liked. I highly recommend this restaurant. It added so much to our road trip!
